Stéphane Houy-Towner is a New York-based design consultant, lecturer and curator. Houy-Towner has an encyclopedic expertise spanning the worlds of Art History, Fashion, Jewelry, and the Decorative Arts. 

He has a unique ability to research and present historically-based design references and seasonal forecasting trends.  Stéphane Houy-Towner’s expertise lies in his ability to reconfigure and visually communicate complex esthetic themes into immediately applicable, market-ready design ideas. As a consultant for clients that include major European couture houses and legendary fashion labels, Houy-Towner works with each design team to define and to develop their own inspired imaginings in a way that marries the intellectual, creative and practical.  

Houy-Towner’s contributions have been instrumental in defining the creative vision of major exhibitions at museums nationwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York --where he was part of the curatorial staff at the world renowned Costume Institute for more than a decade.
